wood cutting day

This is mad mike and carole(Chicken of the woods).Making a soup bushcraft style. Notice the chopping block freshly cut by dick with his chainsaw.All fresh ingredients and wild foods,alexanders, goose grass, dandelions to name a few.We all had some and it went down a treat on a cold day.

This is the hand chainsaw that Barster from the bushcraft magazine lent us.This worked quite effectively tho hard work and alot slower than the petrol version. At the top of the page we are Splitting a birch log for fun.
